experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in
Huntsville, Alabama. This is a contract position with the
possibility of long-term employment. This position offers an
opportunity to contribute to critical financial processes,
including payment posting and commercial collections. The ideal
candidate will play an essential role in optimizing operations and
maintaining accuracy within our accounts receivable functions.
Responsibilities: • Process and post payments manually while
identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency. • Handle
accounts receivable collections for high-profile commercial
accounts with professionalism and accuracy. • Manage billing
functions and ensure timely customer invoicing. • Monitor and
reconcile cash activity to maintain accurate records. • Collaborate
with the team to streamline processes and improve operational
workflows. • Address discrepancies in accounts and provide
resolutions promptly. • Support audits by preparing necessary
documentation and ensuring compliance. • Assist with implementing
automation tools to enhance accounts receivable processes. •
Maintain clear communication with clients regarding outstanding
payments and account statuses. • Proven experience in accounts
receivable processes, including payment posting and collections. •
Strong knowledge of cash applications and billing functions. •
Ability to manage high-profile accounts with attention to detail
and accuracy. • Proficiency in handling cash activity and
reconciling accounts. • Familiarity with automation tools and
process improvement methodologies. • Excellent organizational and
problem-solving skills. • Effective communication abilities for
interacting with clients and internal teams. • Experience in
supporting audit processes and ensuring compliance standards.
