Job Description:

The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting activities, and supporting the finance team in ensuring timely reporting and compliance. This role plays a critical part in the operational success of a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries Process invoices, payments, and vendor transactions in a timely and accurate manner Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and internal accounts regularly Assist with payroll processing and ensure proper documentation Track and manage expenses, purchase orders, and inventory-related financial data Prepare financial reports, including monthly summaries and variance reports Support month-end and year-end closing processes Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards Collaborate with operations, purchasing, and leadership teams to maintain financial accuracy Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed Qualifications 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (manufacturing or production environment preferred) Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication and problem-solving skills Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Preferred Experience Experience in inventory accounting or cost accounting Familiarity with manufacturing workflows or supply chain processes Experience working with ERP systems in a production setting
