Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding
opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist
specializing in educational settings, with experience across Early
Childhood through High School grades. This contract position is
based in Huntsville, AL, offering a chance to make a meaningful
impact on students communication and academic success.
Responsibilities: Provide individualized speech-language
evaluations and therapy services to students from Pre-K through
12th grade. Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff
to develop and implement effective intervention plans. Monitor
student progress and maintain detailed documentation in compliance
with educational regulations. Participate in IEP meetings and
contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions. Utilize
evidence-based practices to support diverse communication needs
across various grade levels, including Early Childhood, Elementary,
Middle, and High School. Desired Qualifications: Valid state
certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Experience working in school settings, preferably with students
from Pre-K to Grade 12. Strong knowledge of developmental
communication disorders and intervention strategies. Excellent
communication and collaboration skills. Ability to adapt therapy
approaches to a wide range of age groups, including Early
Childhood, Elementary (K-5), Middle School (Grades 6-8), and High
School (Grades 9-12). Location: Huntsville, Alabama This contract
