Job SummaryRandstad Engineering is conducting a professional search for a Structural Engineer for a full time, direct hire opportunity with a Civil Engineering client in the great Nashville TN area. The ideal candidate will hold a Structural Engineering Bachelor's degree as well as have 5 to 10 years of Structural Engineering experience. Design and project experience preferred includes, but is not limited to architectural elements and three story structures (i.e large homes, churches). Midsize structure (15 stories) experience is a plus. The firm is seeking highly motivated candidates who aspire to grow into future leadership and/or ownership. • Design and manage projects
  • Work with internal team to ensure design is solid and efficient
  • Partner with both internal and external clients, key stakeholders to determine needs and ensure projects are delivered on time and in budget
    • Work with clients, prioritizing client satisfaction
    • Work with clients to understand and communicate design constraints in any give project
    • Collaborate with all employees of the company, including the Senior Engineering Manager as well as the Director of the Sign Design Group
    • Capable of working across a wide variety of structural areas including signs and buildings and with a wide variety of materials from steel to wood
    • Interest in working with a firm that has a diverse portfolio of projectsQualifications
      • Degreed Structural Engineer with PE licensure (required), or SE licensure (preferred)
      • 5 to 10 years of design and project management experience
      • Design experience with buildings and/or signs or appendages on buildings
      • Aptitude and ambition to grow into ownership of the firm and in help lead the next generation of structural professionals
      • Comfort working with clients at all levels
      • Experience with RISA and AutoCAD is required, and with REVIT is preferred
      • Solid design skills with signs and buildings
      • Experience working with a wide variety of materials ranging from wood to steel to concrete
      • Able to work both independently on projects, and as part of a larger team
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essentialThe Essential Functions Of This Role Include
