Job Description Job Description Job Title: Service Technician | Full-Time | Permanent Location: Portland, TN Vacancies : 1 Shift : On-Call — 40–60 hours/week Posting for an existing vacancy : Yes Use of AI in hiring: No About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join a growing industrial team specializing in hydraulic press and lathe installations, controls troubleshooting, and field service work. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial presses and machinery while ensuring safe and efficient operations at customer sites. This role requires hands-on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, PLC/HMI troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley), blueprint reading, overhead crane operation, and the ability to work at heights. The work environment involves standing for extended periods, exposure to mechanical and hydraulic equipment, noise, heat, and chemicals, and frequent travel for field service assignments. Compensation & Benefits: Hourly Rate: $36/HR Lots of OT Responsibilities: Install, repair, and maintain hydraulic presses and lathe machines Disconnect, reconnect, and integrate electrical systems and controls Troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs (Allen-Bradley) and implement corrective actions Perform dynamic system testing, validation, and customer buy-offs Conduct warranty service, controls upgrades, and retrofits Coordinate subcontractors for press and machine repairs Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for accurate installation Complete technical documentation and Bills of Materials Follow all health, safety, and regulatory compliance standards Requirements: 3 years of hands-on mechanical or industrial press service experience Experience troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems on presses Allen-Bradley PLC/HMI troubleshooting experience Ability to operate an overhead crane Comfortable working at heights (40 feet) Ability to read and interpret blueprints Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle Valid passport and ability to pass a background check Willingness to travel across North America How to Apply: Please submit your resume with key experience points and your interview availability to bmorrow@fuzehr.com Fuze HR Solutions is committed to building a diverse, accessible, and equitable workforce.
