Job Description Job Description Job Title: Electromechanical Technician Job Description As an Electromechanical Technician, you will join our team to assemble testing equipment. The structures you will work on take up to a week to build and consist of various sub-assemblies. You will perform electro-mechanical and mechanical assembly of components in these sub-assemblies, wire panels together, and crimp and strip wires. Confidence in your electrical skills is essential. You will also use hand tools to complete these assemblies and need to read schematics and wiring diagrams. Responsibilities Assemble testing equipment with a team. Perform electro-mechanical and mechanical assembly of components. Wire panels together and crimp/strip wires. Use hand tools such as grinders and drills to complete assemblies. Read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams. Essential Skills Wiring and crimping experience. Ability to read work instructions. Comfortable using hand tools such as grinders and drills. Strong electrical skills for assembly. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with sub-assembly. Skills in larger scale assembly (capital equipment). Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Somerville, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.25 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
