Arcosa Marine is searching for a Safety oriented Machine Operator to run our Plasma Table in our Ashland City, TN barge plant. Our Equipment Operators are part of a team that’s motivated to do a great job. As a Machine Operator at Arcosa Marine , you’ll set up and operate production equipment, monitor temperature and other control components to adhere to specifications. What you’ll do: Operate multiple components of CNC/PLC equipment (stress oven, Whitney-plasma/punch, Oxy-fuel cutting, Plasma cutting, Laser cutting machine, CNC machining center/drills and machines, etc.) Uses basic measuring devices, such as tape measure, and has working knowledge of shop math Performs housekeeping and maintains all required records Follow all safety rules and practices May be involved in safety committees or initiatives Perform other duties as assigned What you’ll need: Minimum of 1 year of experience Ability to proficiently operate multiple pieces of CNC/PLC equipment (Stress oven, Whitney-plasma/punch, Oxy-fuel cutting, Plasma cutting, Laser cutting machine, CNC machining center/drills and machines, etc.) Basic knowledge at reading blueprints and shop orders to determine machine setup Ability to use and troubleshoot hand tools, including measuring tape Capable of setting up and operating conventional equipment with multiple processes of turns Willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed MRN144
