Job Description Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Harness Technician to join our Production Operations team in Courtland, AL ! Summary of Key Duties for this position: • Fabrication of cable assemblies for flight and ground support hardware. • Electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical assembly. • Able to work and build assemblies with work instructions. • Perform a variety of hands-on electrical assembly and minor mechanical assembly tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations. • Conduct basic math and use computers at a basic level. • Make continuity checks on work in process and completed work. • May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications under simulated conditions. The successful candidate must be able to work the variable shifts below contingent upon business needs. 1st Shift: Monday – Thursday (6:00 am – 4:30 pm) 2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday (3:30 pm – 2:00 am) Weekend Shift: Thursday – Sunday (6:00 am – 4:30 pm) Basic Qualifications - Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance - Must be able to work any shift/schedule (first, second, or weekend shift) Desired skills - AIDT Graduate Preferred - Familiarity with harness fabrication / cable and connector assembly. - Familiarity with the use of a variety of tools and materials related to electrical cable / wire harness fabrication and basic mechanical assembly. - Have the ability to be trained and certified in accordance with LM SSC training requirements to perform all duties related to assigned tasks (IPC620/610 certification). Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $37,600 - $66,240. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
