  • You will managethe OR and Central Sterile in this Surgical Services Manager position.
  • You will demonstratethe ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a productive manner.
  • You will demonstrateinterdepartmental support and teamwork through a supportive and collaborativeapproach.
  • You will ensurestaff compliance with policies and procedures, mandatory requirements, andlicensure and certification requirements.
  • You will respondin a timely manner to requests for information or follow-up with physician,staff, or patient issues.
  • Your role providesdirection and acts as resource to other members of the specialty team to ensurecomprehensive and safe patient care.
  • Your role is responsiblefor circulating cases as needed to surgical patients.
  • You willcollaborate with staff and the director to plan and implement high qualitypatient care.
  • Your role entailspotential for exposure to hazardous medications as defined by TriStarStoneCrest Medical Centers Hazardous Drug Policy as either hazardous orantineoplastic. All facility-endorsed risk mitigation strategies for handlinghazardous medications must be followed appropriately. Our 119-bed hospital offerscomplete medical care for adults and children, including emergency, surgical,maternity, imaging, cardiology, neurology, orthopaedic, physical medicine,sleep medicine and oncology services.     Qualifications
    • Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing
    • Current Tennessee RN license
    • BS/BSN preferred
    • Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider upon hire
    • Current ACLS certification or must be acquired within six months of hire
