Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to
join our faith-based healthcare organization. At Ascension, we are

As a CT Technologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing
and treating patients by operating computed tomography equipment to
produce detailed and complex scans of the human body. Perform
complex computed tomography imaging procedures under the direction
of a qualified physician. Ensure patient safety and comfort during
scans, adapting procedural techniques to improve diagnostic
accuracy and minimise patient exposure to radiation. Collaborate
with radiologists to evaluate images and determine whether
additional images need to be produced. Maintain accurate patient
records and uphold all HIPAA regulations concerning patient privacy
and confidentiality. Conduct equipment checks and routine
maintenance to ensure operational efficiency and safety of the CT
imaging equipment. Mentor and guide less experienced staff,
fostering a collaborative environment to enhance learning and
growth within the team. Stay abreast of the latest developments in
CT technology and procedures through continued education and
professional development activities. Strong technical proficiency
in operating CT imaging equipment. Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills to effectively communicate with patients,
families, and healthcare team members. Detail-oriented nature with
a high level of accuracy in conducting and analyzing complex
imaging procedures. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a
fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and professional
demeanor. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make
quick decisions regarding patient care. Medical Insurance Dental

through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) is required or must be
obtained within 6 months of hire.
