RN NVICU - PART-TIME The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers
high quality, patient-centered care. In collaboration with medical
providers, the RN provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing
care. The RN serves as an advocate for patients to support an
unparalleled patient experience. What you will do in this role: -
Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development, assessment
range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of
patients served - Promotes customer service initiatives along with
Skyline Medical Center Service Values. (HCAHPS) - All behaviors
fully support positive customer service (HCAHPS) - Documents all
patient care. - Utilized Nursing Process for individual care to
meet needs of patients. - Demonstrates ability to perform technical
skills and procedures. - Promotes compliance with National Patient
Safety Goals. - Assess patient condition during admission and
during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient
status. - Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the
medical provider. - Document the administration of care in the
patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner. - Perform
the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.
- Maintain a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment
used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients. What
qualifications you will need: - Current Registered Nurse license in
Tennessee or appropriate compact state - Appropriate communication
skills - Education – ASN, BSN preferred TriStar Skyline Medical
Center is a 250 bed facility. We are Tennessee's first
comprehensive stroke center and a national leader in neuroscience.
In addition, we are equipped with 3 helipads, new ICU and
Medical/Surgical floors, and burn care services. We offer a CARF
accredited Inpatient Rehabilitation program and are an ACS verified
