Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Smyrna, Tennessee,

Problem-solving skills Description: The position is for a
Registered Nurse in a Progressive Care Unit. This unit has a total
of 12 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 4:1. Staffing includes
one technician dedicated to the unit. Equipment used includes GE
Monitors, Nova glucometers, and Pyxis med dispense. The
documentation system utilized is Meditech. Scheduling requires
working every other weekend. Floating within the department is part
of the role, in rotation with full-time staff and other travelers.
Patient experience standards include AIDET, completion of
communication boards, and medication teaching. Applicants should
have experience with post-catheterization care, including TR band
management. Candidates must have advanced skills in TR band care,
advanced pulmonary treatments, and medication titration. There are
no specific procedures performed on this unit. Charcoal gray scrubs
are required for the dress code. Please refer to unit-specific
policies and guidelines for additional information. The unit
