VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Director to lead our behavioral health services within correctional facilities. This role is pivotal in advancing our mission to enhance public safety and reduce recidivism by providing top-tier mental health care. The Behavioral Health Director will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of mental health services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and enhancing the effectiveness of patient care through innovative strategies. Develop and implement comprehensive mental health services and programs. Oversee clinical and administrative operations of the behavioral health department. Ensure all healthcare services meet compliance with governmental and industry-specific regulations. Manage a multidisciplinary team, providing guidance and professional development opportunities. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and administrative staff to integrate mental health services with other healthcare activities. Lead efforts to improve patient outcomes and reduce recidivism through strategic behavioral health interventions. Conduct regular reviews and adjustments of programs to meet the evolving needs of inmates. Prepare and manage the budget for the behavioral health department. Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills In-depth knowledge of behavioral health sciences and correctional healthcare Experience in managing multidisciplinary healthcare teams Ability to design and implement clinical and administrative policies and procedures Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Licensed Clinical Psychologist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Certification in healthcare management preferred (e.g., CCHP-MH)
