Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse
(RN) to join our compassionate team in the Emergency Department.
Working within a faith-based healthcare system, you will play a
vital role in our mission to transform healthcare and uplift the

facing urgent health issues. Provide immediate and effective
medical care to patients in the emergency department. Perform
assessments, triage, and prioritize patient care based on acuity.
Administer medications, maintain patient records, and comply with
healthcare regulations. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
to facilitate comprehensive emergency care. Educate patients and
families on health conditions and discharge instructions. Ensure
the efficient operation of the emergency department through
effective communication and organizational skills. Participate in
continuous training and professional development activities. Strong
clinical skills in a high-intensity healthcare setting Ability to
perform triage and make urgent, critical decisions effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Capability to work
cooperatively in a diverse team environment Highly developed
organizational and multi-tasking skills Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license in
the state of employment. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the
American Heart Association or equivalent.
