Information Unit Specifics: Number of Beds : 34 Patient Ratios :
6:1 Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech
availability): Tech support on day shift and night shift. Unit
secretary 7a-7p. Type of equipment: IV Pumps, Telemetry, SCD s,
Continuous Pulse Ox Machines, Feeding Pumps, PCA, EKG machines,
bladder scanner, iMobile communication technology Documentation
system: Meditech Scheduling requirements: 3 12 hours shifts/week; 2
weekends (4 shifts) per 4 week schedule Floating policy: Contract
labor is first to float; go by rotation when there are multiple C/L
staff scheduled Patient Experience requirements: Expected to
provide attentive and compassionate care to patients/family
members. Bedside shift report, ability to make personal connections
with patients and include them/family members in their plan of
care. Hospital Specifics- Certifications: Comprehensive Stroke, ACS
Verified Level II Trauma Center, Certified Chest Pain Center Hiring
profile Requested Skill Set: Med/Surg Experience, ability to
prioritize care, multitask, start IV s, basic wound care,
maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, & chest tubes.
Must have: Active RN license, BLS certification Advanced skills
needed: N/A Procedures performed on unit: N/A Certifications
