Job Description:
TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center, located in the heart of
Nashville, TN, is renowned for its commitment to providing
excellent patient care across a wide spectrum of medical
disciplines, including emergency services, cardiology, orthopedics,
and rehabilitation. We are currently seeking a qualified Nurse
House Supervisor PRN to oversee nursing activities and ensure that
our patients receive the highest standard of care. As a PRN Nurse
House Supervisor, you will supervise the nursing staff, coordinate
care plans, and maintain medical compliance within our facility.
This role requires a seasoned professional who can efficiently
manage nursing operations and address any issues that may affect
patient care or staff performance. Provide oversight and direction
for the nursing staff during assigned shifts. Coordinate patient
care and nursing resources, assigning staff as needed to ensure
coverage. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and
hospital policies. Manage patient care emergencies and provide
immediate decision-making as needed. Facilitate communication
between the nursing staff and other medical professionals.
Contribute to nursing staff performance evaluations and training
initiatives. Monitor patient and staff satisfaction, resolving any
issues to maintain high standards of care. Leadership and
management skills in a healthcare environment. Strong critical
thinking and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and
hospital policies. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure
environments. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the
state of Tennessee. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred.
