Job Description:
TriStar Centennial Medical Center, a leading comprehensive
healthcare provider in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a dedicated
PCU Staffing Support Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit. This
role is crucial in maintaining high standards of care and
efficiency in our fast-paced unit that caters to patients requiring
close monitoring due to the severity of their medical conditions.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the
operational aspects of the PCU, ensuring optimal staffing levels,
and maintaining quality nursing care that aligns with our
commitment to excellence in patient health outcomes. Coordinate
daily staffing needs and allocate resources effectively to ensure
adequate coverage and quality care. Assist in the recruitment,
training, and evaluation of nursing staff. Monitor patient care for
adherence to healthcare regulations and standards. Provide support
and guidance to nursing staff to resolve on-floor issues.
Participate in the development and implementation of unit policies
and procedures. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance
patient care outcomes. Ensure compliance with safety and infection
control policies. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in
using healthcare software and systems. Able to work effectively
under pressure. Knowledge of staffing procedures and patient care
regulations. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the
state of Tennessee. BLS certification.
