Job Description:

TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee is seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiology Technologist to join our state-of-the-art healthcare team. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be a crucial part of our diagnostics team, providing accurate imaging services that support a wide range of medical departments, including emergency care, cardiology, and oncology. You will operate advanced imaging equipment, assist in diagnosing medical conditions, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures. Operate and maintain all radiologic imaging equipment including, but not limited to, X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs. Prepare patients for procedures, explaining methodologies and addressing concerns to ensure comfort and compliance. Collaborate with radiologists to determine appropriate imaging techniques and ensure images meet diagnostic demands. Adhere to all facility health and safety guidelines during procedures to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff. Maintain accurate patient records and radiologic files to comply with HIPAA regulations and internal policies. Participate in quality assurance tests and procedures to ensure the reliability of the imaging equipment. Proficiency in operating radiologic technology and imaging software Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology Excellent patient interaction skills, with an ability to communicate complex procedures Detail-oriented with critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Valid state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification preferred
