This role is crucial for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services that support a wide range of medical specialties. As part of our team, you will work in a state-of-the-art facility with access to cutting-edge technology to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This position offers the flexibility of a PRN (per diem) schedule, allowing you to contribute directly to patient care while maintaining balance with your personal commitments. Operate ultrasound equipment to create images and conduct tests to assist physicians in diagnosing medical conditions. Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort. Review and analyze images to check for quality and adequate coverage of the area being imaged. Maintain patient records and manage documentation of ultrasound procedures. Adhere to safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including radiologists, to discuss findings and assist in patient care. Proficiency in operating ultrasound imaging equipment Strong analytical skills to interpret sonographic data Excellent patient management skills to ensure comfort and safety Ability to work independently and as part of a team Effective communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare staff Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
