Job Description:
TriStar Centennial Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider
in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to
join our dynamic team. The MRI Technologist will be responsible for
operating MRI equipment to create diagnostic images in a safe and
timely fashion, while ensuring a comfortable and informative
experience for patients. This role requires knowledge of MRI
procedures and protocol, attention to patient needs, and adherence
to regulatory guidelines. Operate MRI technology and adjust
parameters to capture clear, useful images. Screen patients for MRI
safety, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns.
Maintain and clean MRI equipment and work area, adhering to safety
and cleanliness regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare team
members to interpret image data. Maintain patient records and
radiologic logs, ensuring privacy and compliance. Administer
contrast materials under the direction of a physician according to
strict protocols. Proficiency in the operation and maintenance of
MRI equipment. Strong understanding of radiation safety and MRI
procedures. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare
environment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Certification by the American Registry of
Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Current MRI certification and
licensure by the state of Tennessee, or eligible to obtain. CPR
certification.
