This role is pivotal in supporting our surgical teams across various specialties, including cardiology, oncology, and emergency care. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the safety and efficiency of the surgical environment, maintaining equipment, and assisting during procedures. This position offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility with a focus on high-quality patient care and professional growth. Prepare and maintain the surgical area before, during, and after procedures. Assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel. Ensure that all surgical tools and equipment are properly sterilized and assembled. Maintain a sterile environment to prevent infections. Assist in monitoring and managing patient care during surgery. Handle and care for specimens taken for laboratory analysis. In-depth knowledge of surgical instruments and operating procedures Ability to maintain a sterile field Strong organizational and communication skills Proficient in handling emergency situations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
