Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Bowling Green, KY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,752 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Bowling Green, Kentucky, 42104! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: Critical thinking skills Self-motivation Description: The unit consists of 16 beds. Patient ratios are 2:1, occasionally 3:1. Staffing includes unit secretaries and tech availability. Types of equipment used include Impella, GE monitors, temporary pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Artic Sun, and hemodynamic monitoring. The documentation system utilized is Meditech. Scheduling requirements are for 36 hours weekly. There is a floating policy where staff may float in rotation with core staffing. Patient experience requirements are specific to the setting. Advanced skills needed on the unit include central line insertions and dialysis catheter insertions. Dress code is scrubs of any color; denim, capris, or camo are not permitted. The work environment promotes flexibility with scheduling and fosters a teamwork atmosphere. The staff consists of a mix of experience levels from both day and night shifts. The unit has received recognition for initiatives such as making blankets for hospice patients and implementing the Daisy Award.
