TriStar Centennial Medical Center, located in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Float Pool Nurse to join our dynamic emergency medicine team. In this role, you will provide critical care to patients in various emergency situations, adapting quickly to different settings within the ER department. As a Float Pool Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in managing patient care, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency room setting across various sub-units. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary health care team. Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor patient response to same, adjusting care plans as necessary. Record patients' medical information and vital signs, and communicate significant changes to the appropriate team members. Educate patients and their families on illness, injury prevention, and treatment plans. Maintain flexibility and readiness to work in various ER sub-units as required by daily staffing needs.
