Job Description:
TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, is
seeking a dedicated and skilled Acute Care Orthopedic Nurse to join
our dynamic healthcare team. This role is pivotal in delivering
high-quality care to patients suffering from a range of orthopedic
conditions, including fractures, arthritis, and postoperative
complications. The selected candidate will work closely with
orthopedic surgeons and other medical professionals to ensure that
all patients receive the best possible care during their recovery
process. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology
and resources, offering an ideal environment for professional
growth and practice in orthopedic care. Assessing patient health
problems and needs, particularly in orthopedic cases. Developing
and executing nursing care plans for acute orthopedic patients.
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by
orthopedic physicians. Monitoring, recording, and reporting
symptoms and changes in patients' conditions. Educating patients
and their families on disease management, surgical procedures, and
recovery processes. Collaborating with orthopedic surgeons,
physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure
comprehensive patient care. Maintaining accurate patient records
and adhering to all confidentiality and data protection
regulations. Proficiency in orthopedic care and pain management.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work
effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. Advanced
knowledge of infection control practices. Proficient in using
medical software for patient care management. Medical Insurance

Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee or eligible
for reciprocity. Certification in Orthopedic Nursing (ONC) is
highly desirable.
