as a PRN Operating Room Nurse and contribute to our high standards
of care. In this role, you will work in our state-of-the-art
operating rooms, collaborating with top professionals in
orthopedics, cardiology, and more. This position offers a unique
opportunity to provide critical support in surgeries while ensuring
the comfort and safety of patients during perioperative periods.
Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring all necessary
equipment is available and functioning properly. Assist surgeons
during operations, anticipating their needs and responding quickly.
Monitor patient vital signs during surgery and alerting medical
staff to any complications. Administer and monitor patient
post-anesthesia recovery and post-operative care. Ensure that the
operating room remains sterile, and comply with all infection
control protocols. Document patient information and surgical
proceedings accurately. Proficient in perioperative nursing care
Knowledge of sterile procedures and infection control Ability to
operate and monitor medical equipment Strong critical thinking and
problem-solving skills Excellent teamwork and communication
abilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in the state of
Tennessee. BLS/ACLS certification required.
