Job Description:
Williamson Health and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and
vigilant Monitor Tech to join our dynamic team. This role is
pivotal in continuously observing and interpreting patients' EKG
waveforms and vital signs, ensuring high standards of patient care
in our healthcare facility in Williamson, WV. By joining our team,
a Monitor Tech contributes to our mission of enhancing community
health through innovative and tailored healthcare solutions.
Continuously monitor and interpret patients' EKG waveforms using
telemetry equipment. Report any irregularities in EKG and vital
signs to nursing staff immediately. Maintain patient monitors,
ensuring they are functioning correctly and troubleshoot technical
issues. Document and maintain accurate records of patients' heart
rate, blood pressure, and other critical vitals. Collaborate with
healthcare team members to optimize patient care and safety.
Proficient in using telemetry monitoring equipment. Strong
attention to detail for accurate interpretation of EKG waveforms.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with the
healthcare team. Basic knowledge of medical terminology and patient
care practices. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Certification as a Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) or
similar is highly desirable.
