Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Nashville, TN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,742 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience License: Active RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Cardiac experience - Strong critical care experience Description: Must have cardiac experience. The unit has 32 beds with a patient ratio of 2:1. Student nurse externs are available as techs. A unit secretary is available Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The unit is equipped with Hill-Rom beds and Phillips telemetry monitors. Documentation is conducted using a Meditech system. Schedules are made in 4-week increments, requiring 3-4 weekend shifts per scheduling period. Floating to other units may be required based on unit census. No specific patient experience requirements are outlined. Advanced skills needed include: - PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring - IABP - Impella - CRRT preferred Procedures performed on the unit include: - Central line insertion - Swan insertion - Intubations Dress code consists of scrubs in galaxy blue, red, or black, with scrub jackets or vests only. The unit has received recognition such as the Daisy Award. There is excellent teamwork and staff engagement. A growing program for cardiogenic shock patients is in place, with a dedicated team of providers specialized in this population.
