While fellowship training in molecular pathology is preferred, it is not a strict requirement. Qualifications: Board-certified Pathologist, physician in a specialty other than pathology, or a doctoral scientist with specialized training and/or relevant experience in molecular pathology. Experience in oncology molecular and cellular tumor markers, as well as virology for molecular methods, is required. A minimum of 3 years of laboratory training or experience in high-complexity testing. Clinical research experience and publication of work are preferred. Expert knowledge of clinical testing processes and procedures. Laboratory or manufacturing facility experience is a plus.
