Job Summary and Qualifications The CT Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by a physician and for the day-to-day activities that ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment. What You Will Do In This Role: Demonstrate the knowledge and skills needed to provide appropriate care for patient populations in the department. Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development across the lifespan and possess the ability to assess data reflecting the patient's age-specific needs. Assess patients' and families' ability to learn and incorporate teaching throughout the CT procedure. Deliver compassionate, holistic care while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients. What Qualifications You Will Need: Must be a graduate of an accredited 24-month Radiological Technology Program. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. ARRT registered. CT Certification is strongly preferred or must be acquired within 6 months of employment. A minimum of 1 year of CT experience is strongly preferred but not required. Ability to work two fourteen hour shifts on weekends, Saturday and Sunday (7am to 1130pm) TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is a 150 bed hospital that has provided high-quality health care for over 40 years.
