Job Description Community hospital looking to bring on Respiratory Manager! Manages the daily operations of the assigned department or function to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives. Staff Management & Development : Oversees recruitment, scheduling, payroll, performance management, training, conflict resolution, and professional growth opportunities; responsible for hiring, terminating, and administering corrective actions. Financial & Regulatory Oversight : Monitors budgets, contracts, vendor relations, and compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA); manages procurement, equipment, and supply usage to ensure efficiency and readiness. Patient Care & Service Coordination : Assesses quality of patient care, coordinates services among patients, staff, physicians, and departments, and provides direct care when necessary. Confidentiality & Stakeholder Relations : Maintains sensitive information securely, serves internal staff and external clients/vendors, and fosters a collaborative environment that meets organizational and regulatory standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred. Applicable work experience may be used in lieu of education. Certified Respiratory Care Therapist; Valid and Current Arkansas Board of Respiratory Care Management Experience strongly preferred (BLS) Basic Life Support required one month from hire/transfer date (ACLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support six months from hire/transfer date (PALS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support six months from hire/transfer date
