Job Description:
Williamson Health and Wellness Center, a leader in
community-based healthcare in Williamson, WV, is seeking a
dedicated Registered Nurse for our Medical/Oncology department.
This position offers the unique opportunity to work within a team
that is deeply committed to the wellness and care of our patients,
providing tailored care programs aimed at improving patient
outcomes in the field of oncology and general medicine. Ideal
candidates will bring a passion for patient care, expertise in
nursing, and a commitment to collaborate with other healthcare
professionals to deliver exceptional medical services. Provide
direct nursing care to patients in the oncology and medical units.
Administer medications, manage pain, and assist in symptom
management. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to
formulate individualized care plans. Educate patients and their
families on disease processes, treatment plans, and preventive
care. Monitor patient reactions to treatments and modify care plans
as needed. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure
confidentiality at all times. Strong clinical skills in oncology
and general nursing. Ability to administer chemotherapy and other
specialized medications. Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills. Proficient in using medical software and patient management
systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of West
Virginia. Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification
preferred.
