Job Description:
Williamson Health and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated
Athletic Trainer to join our team of healthcare professionals. In
this role, you'll collaborate with medical staff and physical
therapists to deliver top-notch care and sport-related injury
prevention strategies tailored for our community in Williamson, WV.
The ideal candidate will develop, coordinate, and implement
programs that prevent injury, evaluate and manage injuries, and
keep athletes and physically active individuals at their peak
physical ability. Assess and evaluate athletic injuries and provide
immediate care. Design and implement comprehensive rehabilitation
and injury prevention programs. Educate athletes on strategies to
enhance their performance through preventive measures. Coordinate
with physicians and health care professionals to develop
personalized care plans. Maintain detailed records of athlete
injuries and recovery processes. Strong knowledge of physical
therapy and rehabilitation Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a
team Proficient in the use of athletic training equipment and
technologies Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
401k Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) by the Board of
Certification, Inc. (BOC) CPR and First Aid certified
