Job Description:
Amazon's Reliability, Maintenance & Engineering (RME) team
ensures that our global fulfillment and operations networks run
safely, efficiently, and at peak performance. We are hiring a
Business Analyst to join our Central RME team as the go-to source
of business intelligence for Operations. You will analyze
operational data, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights
that drive decision-making. This role requires a bias for action;
you will move quickly to translate complex data into clear
recommendations that enable our teams to work smarter and deliver
results. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the
ability to influence stakeholders through data-driven narratives
are essential for success in this role. Key job responsibilities -
Partner with data business leaders and program stakeholders to
ensure key decision data is accurate, automated, and delivered in a
timely fashion - Collect, analyze, and manage quantitative business
data to create meaningful reports, drive metrics discussions, and
recommend improvements - Lead the development of weekly, monthly,
and quarterly metrics alongside operational planning, forecasting,
and reporting models that enable stakeholders to make effective
decisions - Manage competing priorities while providing
level-headed guidance on business metrics, even during unexpected
events - Produce regular reports and analysis using data mining and
analytical tools to identify trends, develop forecasts, and uncover
improvement opportunities - Conduct root cause analysis to identify
underlying process, operational, or data-related issues, implement
improvements, and establish new measures that advance data-driven
decision-making across the organization - Develop and implement
KPIs, automated reporting solutions, and process improvements that
meet business needs - Manage and execute data related project
components from start to finish including data gathering and
manipulation, synthesis and modeling, problem solving, and
communication of insights and recommendations A day in the life

finance or a related analytical field experience - 5 years of
writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports
using Tableau, Power BI experience - Experience defining
requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights -
Experience with Excel - Experience making business recommendations
and influencing stakeholders - Experience delivering forecasting,
budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of
results, or experience in solving complex business challenges by
delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and
recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g.,
financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)
- Experience as a business analyst, data analyst, or in a
statistical analysis role - Experience running metrics reports,
analyzing data to identify problems and using data analysis to
generate and explain metrics - Experience gathering business
requirements, using industry standard business intelligence tool(s)
to extract data, formulate metrics and build reports - Experience
in performing financial and ad hoc analysis using data reporting
tools - MBA - Bachelor's degree, or MBA in management, business
administration, economics, engineering, marketing - Experience that
includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and
effective communication abilities, or experience in SQL
Server/MySQL - Experience solving complex problems quantitatively
and develop actionable data-driven business recommendations -
Experience in written and verbal communication with the ability to
present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
to executives and non-technical leaders - Experience in building
financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business
decision-making, or experience working with large-scale data mining
and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MS Power Query, Python) - Experience

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
