Job Description Job Description Job Title: Picker/Packer/Material Handler Job Description We are seeking detail-oriented and dependable Cleanroom Order Pickers/Packers to support pharmacy compounding operations in a controlled cleanroom environment. This role is responsible for accurately picking, counting, and packing medical supplies used in pharmaceutical compounding orders while following strict quality and cleanliness standards. Responsibilities Pick and count medical supplies and components for pharmacy compounding orders. Accurately pack and label orders according to company and regulatory standards. Work in a cleanroom environment, following all gowning, hygiene, and cleanliness protocols. Read and interpret pick tickets, labels, and basic written instructions. Maintain organization and accuracy while handling sensitive medical supplies. Safely climb ladders to retrieve items from top shelving when required. Inspect products for accuracy and damage prior to packing. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area. Meet productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced environment. Essential Skills Experience in assembly, picking, and packing. Familiarity with inventory management and RF scanners. General labor skills with a focus on medical assembly. Proficiency in order picking, packaging, and warehouse packing. Knowledge of pharmacy operations, production, and medical protocols. Ability to load, label, ship, and receive goods. Inspection and cleaning skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a cleanroom or controlled environment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. Work Environment The position is based in a cleanroom or controlled environment, where no respirator is required. Employees will stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods and use ladders to access higher shelving as needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Decatur, AL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
