Job Description:
Summary of Job: This full time position will provide engineering
design and support as part of our Design-Build construction team.
This position requires a high level of interpersonal skills,
critical thinking, and engineering design experience in facility
solutions.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform full design of electrical and power systems for new
construction projects and existing facility upgrades as Engineer of
Record
- Responsible for preparing construction drawings and
specifications
- Act as the technical authority consistently moving projects
toward successful completion often while leading internal
teams
- Thoroughly understand and design to all relevant codes and
standards
- Assist internal sales and vertical market teams in preparing
proposals for design and construction of projects by various
support functions such as: drawing review, site review, perform
load calculations, initial equipment selections, design
clarifications, codes research, systems analysis, energy audits and
problem solving
- Perform evaluations of facility electrical systems and develop
narratives for Owner solutions
- Must be able to handle stress and job demands.
- Must be able to cooperatively work with others.Education and
Experience:
- Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering
- 3 years of industry experience preferred.Skills and Abilities:
- Licensed Professional EngineerPhysical Demands/Working
