Find out more at /us Job Summary - As a Manufacturing Production Technician (Machine Operator) , you will be responsible for the manufacturing, assembly, and/or packaging of lithium-ion batteries based on customer specifications. You will carry out the production process by closely following the Standard Operating Procedures, work instruction documents and blueprints or drawings as they relate to assembly, materials handling, equipment operation, and finished goods packaging. This position requires following cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and working in a fast-paced team environment. Also perform functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies. Use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment. Also determine and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. You will use your manufacturing technician skills to influence and inspire change while ensuring that safety and quality considerations are paramount at all times helping to produce the safest lithium-ion batteries for our customers. - Job Functions - The following job function statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed. - They are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required of this position - - Assembly of lithium-ion batteries that are utilized in a variety of industries including automotive, non-automotive power equipment and home/business stationary storage. - Working as a member of various workstations along an assembly process in cell assembly, pack, material handling or other groups to produce lithium-ion batteries. - Assignment to different work stations/rotations as production needs require. - Sharing ideas and making recommendations on process design and manufacturing improvements to resolve issues, further increase product quality and maintain cost competitiveness. - Work with highly automated assembly equipment as well as other battery-powered hand tools. - Other duties as assigned. - - Minimum Qualifications - Have verifiable stable work history, with no experience necessary - - Education - High School Diploma or GED preferred - Envision AESC invests $2 billion for 30GWh electric battery gigafactory, creating 2,000 jobs Envision AESC's Investment in 30GWh Kentucky Gigafactory Creates 2,000 New Jobs and Solidifies the Commonwealth as Electric Vehicle Battery Capital of U.S. Envision AESC, a world-leading Japanese electric vehicle battery technology company, along with Gov.
