    Summary The Domestic Commercial Customer Support Specialist role is a dynamic position with varying duties. The primary goal of this role will be taking leads from various sources (i.e.; referrals, lead gen, etc.), inquire as to customer needs, make recommendations for product, prepare and provide quotes, manage quote pipeline, negotiate with customers to close sales.
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    • Calls prospective clients to assess needs
    • Accepts orders over the phone and via email
    • Enters all incoming orders into the ERP system
    • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from trade magazines, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet web sites, and other sources
    • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customer into computer database
    • Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts
    • Investigates and resolves customer problems
    • Manage personal KPI's to track results and achieve budgeted goals
      Education/Experience Requirements
      • Minimum 3-years professional sales or marketing experience preferred
      • Experience in direct customer sales
        Special qualifications or skills
        • Compassion for the customer and commitment to the team's success
        • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary with an ability to quickly develop relationships with all levels of customers
        • Possess an aggressive approach to all stages of follow-up with customers
        • Strong administrative skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently are also required
        • Experience with Word, Outlook, Excel
        • Experience with AutoCAD and /or Salesforce.com
