Pay Range $33-45/hour

Cumberland Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, an affiliate of Spark Dental Management, has an immediate opportunity available for a Registered Dental Hygienist!

We are looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist in our Pediatric Dental office to help treat patients and promote good oral health practices. What will you do? Your duties will revolve around conducting initial patient screenings, cleaning teeth, and advising patients on oral health and preventative care. As an RDH, you should be reliable and able to build trust with patients of all ages. You should have a deep knowledge of relevant health and safety rules and a good eye for oral diseases and anomalies. If you have a steady hand and great bedside manner, we'd like to meet you.

This position is a full-time position. The hours are Monday-Thursday from 7:45AM-5PM and Friday from 7:45AM-1PM.

How you will make an impact

Must be able to work in a pediatric, child friendly environment
Review all hygiene patient charts including; reason and necessity of visit, medical history, and x-ray requirement
Verify patient information with parent or guardian, according to HIPAA privacy standards
Verify the patient has consent for treatment from parent or guardian
Advise parent or guardian what to expect in the visit and address any concerns
Clean and sterilize all instruments following OSHA and company standards. This includes; scrubbing instruments, packing the instruments and processing them through the statim or autoclave sterilizer
Must maintain Dental Hygiene License in good standing and complete the CE Credits required by state

What you will need

Current State of TN RDH License
Current CPR Healthcare Provider Certification
Dental office experience preferred
Since this position does require working with children, a criminal background check will be required.
