Located in the Smyrna, Tennessee, area, this Desktop Support Analyst role is long-term temporary in nature.Responsibilities- Settle computer problems, and offer suggestions on appropriate action/solutions- Communicate regularly and effectively with ticket submitters- Keep up, explore, and fix computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals- Offer your support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems- Deliver computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures- Match hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors- Curate records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activitiesJob Requirements:- Experience writing procedure manuals, user instructions, business correspondence, and general report writing - 3+ years of desktop support or other related experience - Demonstrated knowledge of switches - Routers experience required - Adeptness in MS Windows 7 in an Active Directory environment - Practical knowledge of PC desktop/workstations - Deep understanding of virtualization - Solid understanding of Microsoft Office 365 - General familiarity with Microsoft Windows 8 - Active Directory experience highly desired - Microsoft Windows Server 2008 experienceRobert Half Technology matches IT professionals with remote or on-site jobs on a temporary, project or full-time basis.
