Job Summary

Pilot Freight Services is seeking a full time Delivery Driver at our La Vergne, TN Location. Dependable driver with 2yrs experience doing local deliveries for both residential and business. Must be able to run sit down forklift, and responsible for loading and unloading of truck. Must also package freight picked up that day for transit out that night when arriving back to dock

Responsibilities:

• Perform local commercial and residential pickups and deliveries, will be home nightly;
• Be able to work with other drivers and driver helpers to perform deliveries inside residences;
• Accurately complete required paperwork on each job as well as daily paperwork, and understand direction;
• Keep on schedule as provided by dispatcher, and advise if there are delays or issues in a timely manner.
  Qualifications:
  
  • Must have 1+ year prior experience driving box trucks
  • Must be reliable, punctual and self-motivated
  • Must have local driving knowledge of the area
  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Drivers must have excellent customer contact and driving skills
  • Must be able to lift over 70 lbs unassisted
  • Must have good MVR & DOT records
