Dedicated yard switchers play a critical role in our customer's transportation needs by ensuring the timely movement of trailers in and out of the docks on-site at the customer's location. Unlike some positions, this one gives you a better idea of the number of hours each week holds, which means you'll have a better idea of what to expect in every paycheck. And because you know your customers and their typical freight load, you'll never be surprised or slowed down by unusual shipments.

• Competitive pay
• Average $1,140 per week; $59,280 per year
• Starting at $23 per hour
• Reaching $24 per hour after 90 days
• Average 40- 48 hours per week
• Overtime pay for hours worked over 40 hours
• Working 3 - 4 days per week
• Home daily
• Day and night shifts available
  • 6 a.m.-6 p.m.; Sunday - Tuesday or Thursday - Saturday, working every other Wednesday
  • 6 p.m.-6 a.m.; Sunday - Tuesday or Thursday - Saturday, working every other Wednesday
  • Ensuring the timely movement of trailers in and out of the docks on-site at the customer's location
  • Hazmat is preferred but not required CDL-A Dedicated Yard Switcher Benefits:
