this may be the perfect job for you! - - -As a Sr. Logistics
Specialist, you'll be working with a cross-functional team
supporting sustainment contracts on sensor systems to ensure
material needed at tactical sites are tracked, ordered, and shipped
to their end destinations, and prioritize requisitions based on
maintenance and customer needs.In this role you'll execute in a
highly dynamic environment as each requisition needs to be
individually tracked. You'll coordinate and collaborate with
tactical site teams, project leaders, program managers, and cross
functional areas including operations, supply chain, and finance to
ensure the most current data is available for reporting.Additional
responsibilities may include:
- Supporting the Integrated Product Team Lead in directing asset
procurement and shipping activities and providing logistical
oversight of cross functional areas. Tracking assets as they
proceed through the requisition and fulfillment process. Preparing
correspondence/reports for internal and external
collaboration.
- Partnering in the development of long-term inventory management
strategies in concurrence with technical requirements and customer
needs. Assessing shipment and procurement lead time trends.
Recommending improvements to increase process efficiency and
decrease material lead times.
- Tracking, managing, and reporting status and budget, and
participating in estimate at complete (EAC) reviews. Providing data
for monthly contract deliverables, participating in program
reviews, and other program management or customer meetings.
- Participating in contract proposals and developing labor basis
of estimates. Contributing to risk and opportunity management.
- Mentoring and developing team members.Qualifications You Must
Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years
prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9
years of relevant experience with sustainment services, logistics,
or product support in a military or civilian environment.
- Experience with logistics support, depot warehouse facilities,
and related processes or manufacturing.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security
clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is
required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security
clearanceQualifications We Prefer
- Detail orientated and demonstrated ability to effectively work
in a team environment, with self-initiative, strong written and
oral communication skills.
- Knowledge, understanding, and application of logistics
principles. AN/TPY-2 system product knowledge and/or experience.
Experience with inventory, logistics, or supply chain database
systems.
- Understanding of government acquisitions process, DoD statutes,
and DoD/DFAR regulations. Experience developing and routing DD250
and DD1149 forms.
- Experience in program planning, budgeting, and tracking (EVMS)
to cost and schedule.
- Proficiency with gathering, distilling and analyzing quantities
of data to identify trends, and intermediate skills using MS Office
products, particularly MS Excel.What We Offer

this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is
a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX
