Facilities is seeking a customer service-oriented Facilities space
planner team member to join the Facilities team. The selected
individual will report to the Facilities Manager and will utilize
Outlook, Maximo, Archibus, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Project to
support the Defense Division Facilities team. This role will
require a regular on-site presence in our office in Huntsville,
Alabama Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited
to: At least 3 years of experience successfully managing and
leading teams Experience developing and administering budgets and
standards of performance. Ability to communicate effectively with
senior leadership, outside contractors, and project teams.
Excellent customer service Ability to research and resolve customer
questions without supervision. The ability to multitask and work
independently to meet service delivery agreements Support the
Facilities Manager by assisting with research and other internal
customer inquiries. Plan and layout of new space applications
Provide analytical support by providing reports and analysis to
management regularly. Complete special projects as assigned ?across
a geographically disbursed team. Must have the ability to read
building drawings, blueprints, and systems furniture drawings
Ability to develop detailed floor plans, furniture layouts, and
occupancy models with AutoCAD Ability to specify, source, and
coordinate system furniture installations Create move plans,
phasing schedules, and communication matrices Must have the ability
to write construction Statements of Work with a focus on furniture
and space design-related projects Experience supporting large
projects with the system furniture design and installation. Must
have a working knowledge of building systems, HVAC, Electrical,
Life Safety, plumbing, etc. Basic Qualifications: A bachelor’s
degree or 5 years’ related experience; Masters degree with 3 years
of related experience; Or 9 years of related experience. Advanced
skills in Excel and thorough knowledge of other Microsoft
applications, including Word and Outlook Advanced skills in AutoCAD
Excellent Customer service skills, including critical thinking
Ability to manage time and multiple tasks as appropriate throughout
the day Must be able to obtain a DOD secret-level clearance Assist
in compiling weekly and monthly leadership status reports. Ability
to work in Huntsville, AL Preferred Qualifications: Working
knowledge of the Archibus employee tracking database. Experience
working with Maintenance Connection/Maximo Primary Level Salary
Range: $89,900.00 - $134,900.00 The above salary range represents a
general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of
factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and
responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience,
education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the
position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift
differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability
insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off
