Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1 years
Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required.

considered. A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated
educator skilled in teaching students who are Deaf or Hard of
Hearing. This full-time position offers a 37.5-hour workweek,
providing the chance to make a meaningful impact on students across
multiple grade levelsfrom Kindergarten through 12th grade. The role
requires an active Tennessee Department of Education certification
and the flexibility to serve in an itinerant capacity depending on
individual student needs. Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized
instruction tailored to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in
grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12. Develop and implement individualized
education plans aligned with each student's unique requirements.
Collaborate with general education teachers and related service
providers to ensure an inclusive learning environment. Adapt
teaching methods and materials to support diverse learning styles
and communication needs. Monitor student progress and maintain
accurate records to report on educational outcomes. Travel as
necessary to meet the needs of students at different locations as
per their individual schedules. Qualifications: Active Tennessee
Department of Education teaching certification, specifically for
Deaf and Hard of Hearing students. Experience working with students
in grades K-12. Strong understanding of specialized teaching
strategies and technologies used in Deaf education. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work
independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Location:
