Job Description:

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a dedicated Health Services Administrator to oversee the provision of healthcare services at our correctional facility locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all healthcare services are delivered in a manner that is consistent with our commitment to public safety and the reduction of recidivism through exceptional medical care. As a Health Services Administrator, you will manage a diverse team of health professionals, oversee clinical operations, and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. This role requires a keen ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a high-stakes environment where the delivery of healthcare is uniquely challenging yet profoundly rewarding. Oversee daily operations of healthcare services in correctional facilities Manage healthcare staff and coordinate with correctional staff to ensure efficient operation Develop and implement healthcare policies and procedures that comply with legal and ethical standards Monitor the quality of care and implement improvements where necessary Handle budgetary responsibilities, including the allocation of resources and financial reporting Ensure staff compliance with continuing education and professional development requirements Liaise with external healthcare providers, government agencies, and other stakeholders Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure in a complex environment Proficient in healthcare management software and medical records systems Knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and standards relevant to correctional facilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Correctional Health Professional (CCHP) preferred Valid state healthcare administrator license
