skilled Neuro Step Down Nurse to join our progressive neurology
department. This specialized role focuses on caring for patients
recovering from severe neurological conditions and requires
advanced knowledge in neurological care. Working at our
state-of-the-art facility, you will become part of a team
delivering exceptional medical services across various disciplines
including oncology, cardiology, and emergency care. This role
demands a compassionate individual with a deep understanding of
patient care dynamics in a high-stress neurology setting, aiming to
facilitate patient recovery and enhance quality of life. Monitor
and assess the health status of patients with severe neurological
conditions Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and
monitor responses Provide post-operative care and observe for
complications Educate patients and their families on disease
processes, treatment, and home care preparations Collaborate with
multidisciplinary healthcare teams to facilitate comprehensive
patient care Document patient care services by charting in patient
and department records Implement and evaluate patient care plans
based on patient conditions and standard treatment protocols
Proficient in neurological assessment tools Strong clinical skills
with a focus on neurology and critical care Ability to manage
emotional and physical stress Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Competence in working with healthcare
technology and software Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
in Tennessee or a compact state Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
preferred Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN)
certification is advantageous
